Dear Dave Thank you for the speed of service and the quality of the material. We have been using both the posters and the banners during recruitment drives around the UK over the past three weeks and the response has been very favourable. We set up a stand at Jobserve Live Events at the Guildhall on the 4th October in Southampton for the first time, and won the 'Best Stand Award' that we were very pleased with and this is largely due to the quality of the material, I am sure. Having initially advertised with Waterside Trader, I found out that Dave could also design websites. This was something I had been thinking about, having just set up my own driving school. I didn't really have a clue where to start with it but right from the outset Dave couldn't have been more patient and dilligent, guiding me through the whole process from start to finish. Dave initially came up with the basic design having researched driving instruction thoroughly and was then very patient in making the numerous small changes that I wanted. He also came up with some fantastic ideas that I hadn't even considered and really used his initiative. I now have a fantastic website which I am very proud of and which caters for all my pupils needs. It also looks great with the superb logo Dave designed which is now incorporated on my business cards which Dave also designed and supplied. The headboard on my car was also designed by Dave and has made the tuition car look really professional! The website, business cards and headboard have also received numerous compliments from my pupils and friends and family...Thankyou so much Dave and also Hazel, for all your hard work! Although doing the work on my website myself, I wanted a banner graphic that really stood out. As graphic design is not my strong point I contacted Waterside Graphics. I sent Dave a few photos with some ideas I had and later that day he had sent me back a couple of proofs, I asked him to pick the best bits of the two and he created the perfect banner graphic which I now use at the top of every page on my site. I was thinking about setting up a business doing mobile disco and sound and lighting hire, and had no experience of advertising, marketing or producing web pages. One phone-call to Dave and I had reasonable quotes for designing a website and webhosting, and for the design and printing of postcards to advertise the business in newsagents and post-offices.
Two months on the work has been done, and I'm delighted with the brightly coloured postcards which I am displaying wherever I can. The website is finished and I'm thrilled to bits with it; it is bright, eye-catching, exciting and communicates all the information I wanted to get across.
Dave has been very patient with me as I've e-mailed him photos taken as events have been held. When I started I had no idea whatsoever of what I was hoping to achieve, but Dave has designed a logo I'm delighted to have, coupled with postcards and website I'm proud to own. Now I'm just waiting for the bookings to come in. I couldn't have got this far without your help, Dave, thanks a million!
